Recovering from the 4th of July

This was Betty and Newman's first 4th of July. Momma was extremely  a little worried about how they would react with the fireworks. They did great! In fact, they were pretty unimpressed with the whole thing...
In other news, momma thinks she has found an ideal furever home for Ms. Rini. She hasn't got that many applications for our golden girl, but as the seasoned volunteers at the French Bulldog Rescue Network  say, it only takes one great application.  Momma will keep everyone updated so you can say your proper au revior.

Gunther has recovered nicely from his attention getting bee sting. He still has a bump under his eye where he got stung. For the most part he's staying out of trouble.

As for me, well I'm still trying to find a peaceful place to take a nap.

Love,
Stella

Aww, I love that first picture of Betty and Newman!!! So cute! And I'm sorry you're kinda scrunched there, Stella. It's great that you may have found a home for Rini, but she sure looks happy where she is!

I guess Newman and Betty are pretty happy with each other. Do you think you can make Rini's new pawrents get her a blog as part of the adoption agreement? Then we can all keep up with her. I'm so glad that things are calming down there and that the 4th wasn't too hard on you all.

Yeah we don't really care much about the fireworks either!!! Maybe because Mom and Dad locked us in the house, so they could take the human brother and sister to a baseball game.

Glad you guys are all well and relaxing!

Lola

Wow, Newman is a big boy already - he looks almost the same size as Betty in that first photo! Everyone here was calm as a cucumber, glad to hear you all fare well too. So Stella, does that mean we can set off a few fireworks after we tie the knot??

Good gracious, that bed is full. Great news for Rini. She kinda looks like a girl who wants to be the Queen B, know what we mean? Newman on the other hand has become glued to Ms. Betty..Very cute.
We didn't know Gunther could scrunch up like that.
