I'd like to acknowledge all the heroic rescuers and their dogs heading to Haiti to help in the daunting and dangerous rescue and recovery effort. Haiti was just hit by a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake, which destroyed a great deal of the country including the capital and the United Nations building.
Please keep these rescuers and their dogs in your prayers for their safe return. They will be seeing things we couldn't even imagine. And their dogs, although trained, will be crawling through hazardous situations.
GodSpeed,
Shannon

Having been to Haiti and seen the deplorable, unsafe living conditions, I can only imagine the devastation the country feels right now. My thoughts and prayer are with my Haitian friends, their families and the rescue effort.
