Remember When Wednesday...

Having Rini makes momma remember when we had our long term foster El Guapo.

Remember him?
He was our easiest foster (once momma got his skin issues under control).

We all miss him so much still. Momma says if for whatever reason he had to come back, he'd be a permanent member of our family!
We wonder if any of you had that ONE foster that took a little bigger piece of your heart than the rest?

Love,
Stella, Gunther and Betty

Awwww...Guapo was so very much adorable! He musta lived with you before I got to know you. I thinks you're all very kind and wonderful for fostering doggies. I don't know what homeless doggies or kittehs would do without peoples like you!

AWWW!!!
So Sweet!!
Everytime I fostered I would get all teary eyed!!
Mine are Rolly, Maddy, and Jyesika!!
HA!! I can't choose!!
I only fostered three. Rob says I am a sucker!!
I just got an e-mail from my rescue
(NIPRA) and they need my help again with fostering...OH BOY!! Rob is nervous!!
I told them about Anakin and I have to wait until he is healed.
But then I can help...
It is terrible that these little babies need homes desperately and just get discarded in such a way...and their isn't enough help!
But thank Goodness Shannon for people like YOU!!! :D

I don't think Fostering works for everyone. My mom would NEVER be able to let anyone be adopted.
Thank Dawgness there are grrrreat homes like yours.. that can love and care and then move on to do it again.

I have had 2 fosters that I wish we had kept! The first was a senior Queensland Heeler named Linus! He was perfect! The other was Pierre a black pug who Lola was in love with. Both went to amazing homes but I think about them all the time!!!

Guapo is very man sexy!
I have never fostered before,
but only because I become too
attached, and have more separation
anxiety than any dog I have
met hehe.

I am so glad Rini did well with
her dental! She is one sexy addition
to the family.

I hope you are all having
a great week!

Oh dear, I don't think momma could foster because they would all take up such a big place she would never let them go. But I am glad that there are nice humans such as your mom who help doggies find furever homes.

My humans have never exactly fostered. They have had a few dogs stay with them for very extended periods when their owners couldn't have them with them, but they were people they knew and the dogs were not available for adoption. Even the one who stayed three years. But I'm sure it would be hard to give most of them up.

El Guapo- will live in your heart forever- we did not know him, but you told us about him. So we feels that we know him
One thing for sure is your big heart that glows. And we thinks you have wings.
We never fostered a pug or doggie. We could never let them go, but were still waiting to find a little puggie friend for me.
And that little pug will wind its threads to our heart too, just like El Guapo did to you.

Of COURSE we remember El Guapo (because mom laughed like a nutjob when she googled his name to see what it meant!)!

We haven't fostered any doggies, because mom TOTALLY knows that she would be a big fat failure at it and wind up keeping ALL of them. The house would be FULL of pug hair and yapping, dad would divorce her and then she'd have to move me (and all of those dozens of foster pugs) into a trailer and then we'd have to watch HeeHaw reruns on a little 13 inch black and white TV and eating dry Ol' Roy for the rest of our lives.

SO...mom is really only thinking of the greater good when she limits her volunteering to financial contributions, time and transports.
